Introducing Channel Managers: Eliminate Admin Bottlenecks

Updates Featured Image

Do you wanna enable swift moderation inside your team chat app without needing to wait on admins for every little thing?

Of course you do. And now you can, with Pumble's newest feature — Channel managers.

What are Channel managers?

Channel managers are users with channel-level permissions that let them manage channel settings, control posting permissions, and moderate conversations. When a user creates a channel, they immediately become its manager. However, workspace owners and admins can assign or remove users as channel managers at any point.

This feature is available for Plaky users on the Business plan or higher.

Eliminates admin bottlenecks

Security and governance protocols tend to leave even large workspaces with few admins. Use this feature to offload channel moderation to trusted workspace members without giving them all admin permissions. Keep security controls tight without compromising the speed of channel moderation.

Enables swift moderation

Channel managers can adjust posting permissions, temporarily block members from posting, or even remove users from channels. You can even set your workspace policy to let channel managers delete other users' messages. This lets them quickly moderate channels and keep discussions focused.
