What is the Xero-Clockify integration?
We’ve connected Xero, accounting software for small businesses, with Clockify, a prestigious time tracking tool.
The integration enables you to send invoices directly from Clockify to Xero users. This means that you don’t have to create an invoice from scratch for each client in Xero.
You can simply transfer all of the billable items from Clockify to the invoice.
At the same time, whenever you receive a payment in Xero, the invoice status will immediately change in Clockify. So, there’s no need to check or adjust your payments manually. Instead, you can automate the process by syncing the payments.
Setting up the Xero-Clockify integration
To connect Xero and Clockify, follow these steps:
- Go to CAKE.com Marketplace.
- Find the Xero add-on and install it in your Clockify workspace.
- Go to Workspace settings in Clockify.
- Open the Add-ons tab and find Xero.
- Open the Settings tab.
- Click on the Connect Xero option.
- Allow Xero to access your data.
- Select the Xero tenant from the dropdown.
If your clients are already tracking time with Clockify, you can easily create invoices for billable hours and send them to your Xero account.
You can also:
- Sync invoice payments from Xero to Clockify,
- Send invoices individually, or in bulk for greater convenience, and
- Set up recurring invoices to be sent to Xero.
