There is no room for complacency within the CAKE.com development team.
Our tools may already offer all the core features you want, but we are constantly looking for ways to optimize your user experience and take your productivity to the next level.
With that in mind, here are the main new features our products have received in September 2025 that you didn’t even know you wanted but you won’t be able to work without from now on.
Clockify updates
Clockify devs have been so busy that we’ve actually got 2 large updates to share regarding everyone’s favorite time tracker.
The first is that the Clockify-Jira integration V2 is live.
This isn’t an update to the old, legacy app on the Jira Marketplace. It’s a brand new and improved two-way integration with Jira that supports more Clockify features than the old one.

You can now use it to create, edit, and delete time entries, as well as adjust configuration settings within Jira’s UI. On top of this, it features a safer login protocol (now using codes sent via email instead of copying API keys), dark mode, and one-input task and project fields.
The legacy integration is still available on the Jira Marketplace, but it will no longer receive any updates — so now is the time to switch to V2.
In other news, we’re enhancing the depth of our Time off management feature with customizable expiration dates on time off policies.
Owners and admins can create custom ranges to define when added balance days can be used, as well as add validity periods to the time off balance for any user.

Use this feature to set up expiration dates on accrued days within the time off policy you define. The validity period improves transparency of time off policies, making the process easier to use and manage.

Of course, your efficiency is our ultimate goal, so you can also bulk edit balances for multiple users.
Customizable expiration dates are available to Standard, Pro, and Enterprise users.
Pumble updates
On the Pumble side of things, we’re now able to spread the joy of seamless team communication to non-English speakers.
That’s right, Pumble Android is now available in French, German, Spanish, and Portuguese.
These language options are accessible to all Android users — just go to your profile Preferences, click on Language & region, and choose the language that best works for you.

Bitte schön!
Plaky updates
Last but certainly not least, the Plaky devs have cooked up something you’ll find absolutely delicious — we’re, of course, talking about the My Tasks feature.
It lets you see and manage all the tasks assigned to you across multiple boards on a single page.
This feature is a lifesaver for anyone working on multiple projects at the same time. No longer will you have to scroll through notifications or manually check every single board you have tasks on to make sure you haven’t missed an update.
You’ll see everything at a glance from the My Tasks page.

And you can fine-tune how tasks get sorted, as well as which statuses get omitted — let’s face it, most of us have hundreds of completed tasks that we won’t need clogging up our My Tasks page.

My Tasks is available to all Plaky users, so give it a try and let us know how you like it.
