Introducing Recurring Tasks: Create Recurring Tasks & Notifications Automatically

You need your weekly progress report by the end of the day, just like you always do on Fridays. But you also need to go through the daily report, so you'd better add that to your to-do list — again.
Luckily, you don’t have to repeatedly draft item cards for your employees anymore, or to be more precise, you only need to do it once. With Recurring Tasks, you can automatically create repetitive tasks — and focus on more important work.
What are Recurring Tasks in Plaky?
The recurring task option is a part of the Board Automations feature in Plaky. This feature enables Board Owners to set up tasks/notifications that will automatically renew after a specific time period.
Users can define the start and end dates, as well as the frequency of recurring task/notification creation. With a clear overview and managing options, you can effortlessly track, monitor, and modify recurring tasks as needed.
Benefits of setting up recurring tasks in Plaky
Save time
You don’t have to manually create the same item cards over and over again for your staff anymore. Instead of spending every Monday crafting a task for your employees to send last week’s invoice report, you can set up the task once and then move on to something more exciting.
Ensure consistency
Our work days go by so fast, and it’s easy to forget to create a certain task, especially if it’s something that you do every 6 months, like updating app lists, for example. The recurring task feature takes off the cognitive (over)load and allows you to remain consistent in task/notification creation.
Increase accountability
This feature not only allows you to set up recurring tasks, but also enables you to assign them to users immediately. This way, you define who is responsible for the task, and inform that employee on time that the task is in their hands.
