“CAKE.com came into existence out of our own need. I was a software development consultant, doing software development for startups and companies. I started building 8 software products for other industries. The first 8 times were a failure because I tried to build something that we were not using. The first product — Clockify — was made for our needs and we had a good idea about how that should be built. That’s the first product that actually started making money”, said Nenad Milanovic, CAKE.com CEO and Founder, in the Apple @ Work podcast.
