COING undergoes rebranding, changes name to CAKE.com

COING is now CAKE.com

COING, a SaaS leader in productivity, communication, and time management, which has been up and running since 2009, has undergone a rebranding. With this rebranding, the company is looking to better represent its business software ecosystem. COING is the company behind Clockify, Pumble and Plaky, which will now be under a new umbrella — CAKE.com.

CEO Nenad Milanovic announced the news of the rebranding on his LinkedIn at the end of February.

Currently, CAKE.com offers three tools meant to fit the needs of modern business teams by helping them plan, organize and track every segment of their work.

The first is Clockify, a time tracker and timesheet app launched in 2017 that lets you track work hours across projects. Clockify is used by everyone from small businesses to government agencies — including NGOs, freelancers, and Fortune 500 companies. It’s the most successful CAKE.com app with more than 5 million users all over the world.

The second is Pumble, a team communication app launched in 2020 that allows teams to collaborate faster and cut down on emails.

The third is Plaky, a project management app launched in 2022 that helps organizations keep track of their projects and improve productivity.

Together, they form the perfect solution to improving communication and collaboration in the workplace.

The CAKE.com teams are also working on two projects for this year that tie together and expand the capabilities of the existing three products:

  1. CAKE.com marketplace — for developers to sell their software as add-ons for different CAKE.com products.
  2. CAKE.com account — for better integration and easier access to different parts of our ecosystem.

As of now, the newly rebranded CAKE.com and its existing and future tools will focus on simplifying work one piece at a time.
